As Betsey Johnson's tradition, colors in the whole collection are developed by using the Monochromatic color scheme and Achromatic color scheme. Analogous color scheme is applied as well. Apart from black and white, especially white that she used a lot in this collection, blue, orange and brown in high chroma and constant value were the main colors. Group of girls in the multi-layered skirts and dot patterns one piece dress are pure and matual, which present a romantic spring feeling.

White is used a lot that shows the purity of girls.

Betsey Johnson is about to become a grandmother so the backstage scene this season was all about celebrating her granddaughter. In the collection, she showed rich and jewel tones, tailored suits, and sophisticated cocktail dresses that still smacked of that Betsey touch.

Achromatic color scheme

For the first one, the proportion of using black is 50%. So does grey.

Monochromatic color scheme

The proportion of Purple is around 30%.

The proportions of these 4 colors are almost equal.

Aggressive color combining receding colors with high chroma makes a strong contrast.

Analogous color scheme is used when forming the check pattern.

Achromatic and monochromatic color scheme are used a lot in johnson's 2006 fall collection. Analogous color scheme is applied to form patterns, which makes the patten harmonious. When two colors included in one dress, the proportions for each colors is either equal or 20~30%:70% to provide a contrast.
