2005 Spring collection

Inspired by the 1992 film "The Lover", Betsey Johnson, who is fascinated by dancing and costume, developed her 2005 spring collection in a theme of 50's Prom that consisted of parade of the most colorful dresses. Monochromatic color scheme, complementary color scheme and analogous color scheme were applied to design her collection and the color being chosen were in high chroma and high value. Tint colors made a romantic spring feeling. Girls in these dresses were just like colorful flowers in the garden. When combine colors, Johnson decided to use different colors in a almost equal proportion.
