Analysis of Burberry Check

Looking at the Burberry Check that is known as the Burberry classic check, we can find the Analogous color schemes is applied. The primary color RED is used in this pattern. However, its value is decreased so that it is not very vivid and has little brightness. The background color of this check is kind of sandy brown, which is a tertiary color and it has comparatively high value. Both of them have constant chroma which makes the contrast of this check not so stark and provide a soft feeling. People may feel warm because of the application of aggressive color. Black and white are used as well and the design of overlapping the “lines” that consist of italic lines gives the pattern a 3-D effect.
